A global community dedicated to empowering women through advocacy, education, and cultural exhibition.
The Global Women's Foundation was founded in 2009 by a small group of artists, educators, and activists who believed that cultural exhibition could be a powerful vehicle for women's empowerment.
What began as a single exhibition in New York has grown into a global network spanning 38 countries, supporting over 120,000 women through fellowships, exhibitions, education programs, and advocacy campaigns.
Today, we work alongside women artists, technologists, educators, and organizers — amplifying their stories, supporting their craft, and connecting them with global audiences who believe in a more equitable world.
To empower women worldwide by creating platforms — through art, education, and advocacy — where their stories, voices, and contributions can flourish and travel across borders.
A world where every woman has the resources, recognition, and reach to shape her own future — and a global community that supports her in doing so.
Equity. Centering those most marginalized. Integrity. Transparent in all we do. Solidarity. Building collective power across borders.
